Family owned and operated by Johnny Grist, his lovely wife Linda and their beautiful daughter Tammi, together with the amazing team here at the shop they’ve provided parts and service for thousands of 2N’s, 9N’s, 8N’s and Jubilees along with dozens of other makes and models ranging from the early Massey Ferguson TO’s to todays late model Fords.

   Johnny first discovered old Ford tractors at a young age while working side by side with his father around the family farm. Before long his household chore became a passion for old tractors that developed into a lifelong fascination. It wasn’t long before Johnny began collecting old Fords and performing repair and restoration work for himself and other local farmers and enthusiasts. In 1988 Johnny finally took the plunge, moving out of his workshop in the barn and officially opening South Topeka Service Complex Inc. at 4700 S. Topeka Blvd., in Topeka Kansas. Since then he has been featured in Successful Farming Magazine, and the books Ford N Series Tractors by: Rod Beemer & Chester Peterson and How To Restore Classic Farm Tractors by: Tharran E. Gaines. He’s also garnered numerous awards and prizes at tractor shows and competitions for his work and has become known as "the man to talk to” when it comes to Ford tractors.
