What size rims do I need for my tractor?

Rims are generally 1" smaller than the tire size. However, you should measure your rims from bead seat to bead seat to determine the proper replacement size. Tire sizes for the individual models can be found in the "basics" section of the individual model pages.

If I convert my N Series tractor from 6 volt to 12 volt do I need to change my coil too?

No, you can still use your existing 6 volt coil if you add a voltage reducer.

What size battery do I need for my NAA (Jubilee/Golden Jubilee)?

Any 12 volt battery that fits your battery case ( a battery with low cranking amps will work fine).

How do I find the serial number on my Ford 8N, 9N or 2N?

N Series serial numbers are located on a small raised rectangle on the left side of the engine just below the point where the head attaches to the block next to the oil filter. More detailed information about serial numbers can be found on the "Model Identification" page.

Where did they hide the serial number on the NAA (Jubilee/Golden Jubilee)?

On early Jubilees the serial number can be found on the left side of the block just below the head. On later models the serial number was placed on the left side of the transmission case just below where the starter was attached.

Is there a fuel filter I can use or add to help with rust?

No, no filter can stop rust.

I keep finding rust in the tractor's carburetor, I cleaned it out but it keeps coming back. What should I do?

There are several possible reasons for rust in the carb. Rust can come from using metal cans or fuel barrels. Another possibility is that rust has developed inside your gas tank. If this is the case you will need to replace your tank or have it boiled out (hot tanked) and possibly relined

The inside of the gas tank on my Ford tractor is rusty is there something I can put in it to keep it from getting worse?

The best way to deal with a rusty tank is to have it boiled and chemically relined by a professional. Oftentimes if the rust is extensive it may be more cost effective to replace the tank.

What kind of hydraulic fluid does my tractor use?

N Series and NAA tractors use a non-foaming 90w oil or an 80w if you can find it. More information on fluids can be found listed on the section for each model.
